I never realized it until season 4 straight up pointed it out, but literally since the beginning, “You” has been making light of how absolutely fucking awful the Elite Rich and sometimes Famous people are. Literally every single group that Joe has been dragged into, are spoiled assholes with money overflowing their pockets. Beck’s little rich friend group, the Quinn’s, the entirety of the suburbs, now his little London celeb group. Literally the entire time, Joe has been interacting with and killing crazy, spoiled fucking brats but this season they were like “hey let’s make it obvious and directly call out what we’ve been trying to say here.” Because even though the show is mainly about a stalking psycho killer, they’ve been trying to send a message by using the rest of the characters.
